Imagine how different your world would’ve been as a child if you had the tools to emotional literacy and awareness. What if we can raise a generation to learn from the stories before them rather than solely from their experiences to come? What if we can better equip their minds to process right and wrong in a world that has blended the two? What if our young minds can learn to equip Scriptures as affirmations? It is known that a child’s mind is a sponge, so why not help enrich all influences for child development.

 

Instead of preparing our young minds to endure the storm in its season, why not give them the tools to evolve from it.

 

Out of all the books I’ve reached for The Bible has been by far the most beautiful text I’ve read. Its message relates down to the essence of who we are and it has been the manual during the biggest transition in my life. I started to unravel my purpose and a greater sense of self when I asked for wisdom in the Word. Hebrew has been the bridge to the very depths of my imagination as I process the verses I read.

 

I am made in YHWH’s tselem (image) and demut (likeness) therefore to be human there is a required action. It’s YHWH’s designated bounds that separate me from my lower beast-like nature. In His bounds, I have life! I have dominion; I operate in my sovereignty within His law. My accepted stewardship is to illustrate the values that lie in between the Scriptures we so easily point out. I believe by taking on the cultural mandate of a believer, we can carry forth the values of our Hebraic family.
